My intern in HSBC Shenzhen

I had a great time in Global Banking department, HSBC Shenzhen. The colleagues are nice to me, my mentor and line manager are terrific. The job is quite busy and involves various areas including international trade, accounting, finance and investment banking etc. Through the 2 months working, I have gained an insight to MNC's operations, read countless annual reports and prospectors and learned how to analyze the risk of a company. this working experience has kinda opened a window to the business world for me, besides learning new biz knowledge & skills, much of my existing biz knowledge has been consolidated as well. But most important of all, this internship helps me to better understand myself, being aware of what my strengths & weaknesses are, I'm more clear about my goal and how to develop myself now. Moreover, it helps me realize that the knowledge I've acquired so far is far from sufficient to be a professional banker and this awareness has motivated me to study harder than before.

Thanks CIMA again for providing such a great opportunity to us. And BTW, the career camp did teach me several valuable lessons, I enjoyed the camp very much. Were it not for CIMA, I probably wouldn't have had such a meaningful summer holiday. ^_^
